Ops Engineer

Pusher is a complex distributed system currently running on AWS. We help thousands of developers send billions of messages to their users. We do operations on a large-scale so our users don't have to.

We're not scaling your average LAMP stack. The challenges facing a service that is depended on 24/7 are numerous and taxing (read fun). The right candidates will know that #monitoringsucks and will be passionate about making it better. You will work closely with our engineering team to improve the ways we deploy, observe, tune and protect our service.

  • You record and learn from mistakes (and help others to do so)
  • You have strong opinions but can be pragmatic


Requirements


Several years experience doing operations at high scale in Linux environments. Ideally that would include experience with Redis, and AWS.
